DactyScan84c from Thales Cogent is an optical live fingerprint reader with large platen. The reader is capable to capture 4-slap and 2-thumbs fingerprints, allowing to collect all 10 fingerprints using 4+4+2 method. Also the DactyScan84c can capture single rolled and flat fingerprints.

The device is certified by FBI as compliant with FBI IAFIS IQS CJIS-RS-0010 (V7) Appendix F. Also it is compliant with ANSI/NIST-ITL-1-2007, ANSI/NIST-ITL-1-2000 and ISO/IEC 19794-4 standards.

Support modules for this scanner are included in MegaMatcher 13.1 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 13.1 SDK and VeriFinger 13.1 SDK.
